Docket no. PC-2026-0029
Ed v. PP
Before Hon. Delphine Vex · Decided
They hired me to do a marketing post, but ended up not paying me.
Relief sought
$200 compensation
Findings, opinion and order
Gander v. Empty Promises, 678 Petty 404 (2022)
Opinion of the court
In the absence of tangible evidence, we turn to the guiding principle of "assertio sola non sufficit," as enshrined in Gander v. Empty Promises. Given the totality of murmured commitments and ungathered proof, we ascertain intention as a faint shadow yet to manifest.
Disposition
The plaintiff, Ed, shall prevail for the breach asserted by mere vaporous agreement.
Damages and obligations awarded
Ed is awarded $75, plus one (1) finger-painted artistic interpretation of marketing justifications by PP, to be delivered within three (3) days.
